Live Trapping – Please read this IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Live Catch Traps
There are environmental benefits to be gained from using live catch traps, in particular rodenticides are not used and non-target species can be released provided this is permitted. However, traps should always be visited once every 24 hours to prevent unnecessary suffering to captured animals, such as exposure to adverse weather conditions. Once caught, non-target species must be released as soon as possible and pest-species disposed of humanely. Drowning is not an acceptable method of dispatch.
